Utilizing Storage Engine’s award-winning stateful failover technology, the NIC Express agents – located at key systems around the edge of the network – accurately pinpoint the nature and location of network bottlenecks and faults anywhere on the network. NIC Express will instantly reroute traffic around any fault so that maximum connectivity is maintained across the network.
In addition, NIC Express Enterprise Edition can improve network performance by distributing traffic among multiple adapters in each server. As users access a server, the software instantly routes connections among the various adapters within the server. This process effectively increases bandwidth by a factor equal to the number of adapters in the server. To the server, these multiple adapters appear as a single network interface. To the remote user, the server is always available without the delay that might otherwise be caused by congestion during high-access periods.

Provides advanced failover and load balancing functionality for individual servers or workstations on the network. Provides LANs with enterprise-level, end-to-end network availability by creating redundant data paths between all network server and workstation endpoints. The software works by placing NIC Express agents at key systems around the edge of the network to monitor network traffic as data passes between servers and workstations. NIC Express agents accurately pinpoint the nature and location of network bottlenecks, physical faults and logical faults and instantly reroutes traffic around the faults with near-zero packet loss. Remote management capabilities are provided through the web-based Enterprise Manager console.
