We are seeking a successful candidate for the New York Metro market which is for a technical selling position for the above technology solutions and services along with our new secure cloud solutions. This candidate will work with existing and new business opportunities. This position is based in the Tinton Falls, NJ. We are actively seeking candidates that know data storage and cloud solutions that can help us continue our growth with the SEI products/solutions value, relationship development, and consultative selling skills.

This person will spearhead end-to-end sales process of a solutions-based sales/engagement model for assigned territory/agencies. This selling position leverages appropriate SEI offerings and expertise to objectively address customer needs in an effort to become their trusted advisor. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with C-level and IT executives at Commercial and Government Agencies so they become familiar with the value of the SEI solutions. This includes proposal preparation, follow up with clients, diagram depictions, and to offer assistance for all the needs as directed by your manager.
• You will plan, organize, lead and ensure a balanced sales penetration and growth, continued account penetration, especially within existing agencies/department accounts, and customer satisfaction on a long-term multi-year focus. Demonstrate advanced knowledge, practice and success.
• Must have a detailed knowledge of data storage hardware and software, our solutions and consulting services offerings, competitive products, customer vertical industry, and have in-depth understanding of the customer’s pain point and application strategy. Ability to help customer make future solutions decisions away from incumbents based on solutions, benefits and savings.
• Initiate contacts with, and manages difficult/tough prospects with value and differentiation compared to the usual vendors. May assist others with difficult/tough sales and solutions. Often leads a cross-functional sales team.
• Maintain a complete knowledge of SEI products, policies and services.
• Has a strong technical understanding of the SEI offering where they fit and know when to engage assistance from others. (including a technical background/experience)
• Enterprise – Cross-section of accounts; contain commercial and government accounts.
• May assist others with difficult/tough sales and solutions. Often leads a cross-functional sales team.
• Ability to operate with considerable latitude. May serve as project or initiative leader.
• Initiating telephone and email contact with potential prospects from web and lead generation lists; cold calling as needed.
• Representing SEI products and solutions at tradeshows, seminars and other demand-generation events.
• Provides quotes and presents proposals to prospects and customers as needed.
• Drive the sales engagement with end users within the defined territory.

Competencies We seek a proven sales/technical leader with exceptional relationship development skills coupled with a history of consistent quota achievement selling complex solutions within a highly resource-matrixes environment. Additionally, we require:

• Position may requires the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret (SCI with poly) US government security clearance.
• Enterprise account management experience or technical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Exceptional communication, presentation and organizational skills.
• Experience with Government procurement processes and contracting vehicles.
• Preferred:
• Excellent electronic correspondence skills, with knowledge of basic business research tools.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.
• Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities.
• Detailed, measurable experience in negotiating contracts.
• Excellent pipelining / forecasting / resource management / account management skills essential to success.
• Advanced degree.
• TS/SCI and Poly existing.
