US Navy chooses SEI's SX-6500 Series Storage

Tinton Falls, NJ --- The United States Navy has awarded a contract to Storage Engine, Inc. for the purchase and implementation of the SX-6530 storage appliance and accompanying tape libraries. The Navy continues to rely on SEI products for their ability to cost effectively run, store and protect critical workloads. The SX-6530, the flagship of the SX-6500 series storage appliances, offers feature rich storage virtualization, data encryption and non-disruptive scalability up to petabytes of data under a single control enclosure. The system’s ability to rapidly scale, manage data and secure underlying workloads through encryption were all key factors in influencing the Navy’s decision. Storage Engine has contracts that requires US Department of Defense Facility Clearance (FCL). Those seeking to learn more can email for more information and details.
